Lezing: De oorsprong van de dualiteit en de weg naar eenheid

Inhoud van de lezing:
Onderzoek in oude teksten en bronnen maakt het mogelijk aan te tonen hoe de dualiteit is ontstaan, welke krachten en machten (archonten) daarin nog altijd een rol spelen en ook welke plaats de mens daarin inneemt. Vooral de ‘Nag Hammadi geschriften’ bevatten bronnen die helderheid scheppen zodat het proces van het ontstaan van goed en kwaad, leven en dood te begrijpen is.
Gnostici hebben zich door alle tijden heen met dit vraagstuk beziggehouden. Deze zoekers naar innerlijke kennis gaan ervan uit dat er een werkelijke bevrijding, een weg naar éénheid die dualiteit overstijgt, mogelijk is. Leringen van grote meesters zoals Jezus en Boeddha dienen daarbij als leidraad.
Jezus werd niet voor niets ‘de Verlosser’ genoemd en Boeddha ‘de Bevrijder’, en hun leringen zijn nog even actueel als ten tijde van hun leven.

Marianne gaat ook in op het kathaarse evangelie van Maria Magdalena ‘The Beloved Companion’, dat een aantal stappen beschrijft die de mens kan te doorlopen om zich vrij te maken uit deze wereld die naast vreugde ook veel lijden en verdriet kent.
Dat is de weg naar eenheid, in het Ene Licht dat geen schaduw kent.

Marianne van den Dungen is kunstenares en schrijfster van het boek ‘Parzival en de Graal, het pad van de ziel’.
