Een spiritueel pad en het graalverhaal

Aan de hand van enkele tekeningen uit haar serie over de queeste van Parzival naar de graal vertelt zij haar verhaal.

Tekening over een belangrijk moment in het Parzivalverhaal.
In deze scene gaat Parzival om te beginnen een gevecht aan met een onbekende ridder (deze strijd zie je onderin de tekening).
Hij weet niet dat dit een ridder van de graalburcht is, de plaats waarnaar hij al heel lang op zoek is.
Parzival wint maar zijn eigen paard is in een ravijn gestort en de andere ridder is te voet weggekomen.
Hij is ten einde raad en loopt naar het paard van zijn tegenstander en zegt tegen het dier: ‘Breng me maar waar je wilt, ik weet het niet meer’. Hij staat op het punt van opstijgen en dit is het moment van ego naar overgave. Het paard van het graalkasteel zal terugkeren naar zijn stal, de graalburcht waar Parzival zo intens naar op zoek is.
